Retention pond cleaning & weed removal is one of the many services we are proud to offer at A & B Aquatics. Retention ponds are simply “basins” that are created to catch the run-off water from areas that are higher in elevation.
Generally, retention ponds are created in new construction areas. These ponds continuously have bacteria being deposited into them by decomposing plant & animal matter which in turn creates harmful gases such as nitrogen and methane. These gases, if left untreated will diffuse throughout the pond, harming fish and other aquatic species.
Let our trained aquatic professionals remove the weeds & muck from your retention pond safely & effectively.
We will evaluate your retention pond free of charge and provide you with a unique restoration and/or maintenance plan specifically designed to restore your pond & enhance your overall water quality. There are several restoration methods available. Please call us today to discuss which method would best suit your retention ponds needs.
